Dear Colleague,

Here’s hoping that last year was a good year for you and your family, and that the new year will be even better. We assume your efforts to improve your ability to practice dentistry were successful, and can only hope we might have played a small part in that continuous pattern of growth.

The Continuing Education Program at the UCLA School of Dentistry offers courses for dentists, hygienists, and assistants for California CE credit. We also offer prep courses for review for the California State Board Exam, Western Regional Exam, and Restorative (Bench) Exam . With the recent legislative actions of Bill 1467, we will be offering prep courses for the Restorative Technique (Bench) Exam.

We also offer special courses, advanced dental studies and preceptorship programs for internationally trained dentists. Subjects include: Endodontics, Orthodontics, Implants, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Esthetics, Operative, RDAEF, Periodontics, and more.

Our goal as the Continuing Education Program at UCLA is to provide you with the latest scientific and clinical knowledge, enhancing your techniques with practical training programs and the newest technical updates. The by-product of this is better patient care, and a much more enjoyable daily practice environment.

Each year we re-evaluate how effective we were in helping you get better. The only way to learn this is by listening to you. The more we listen, the more we realize that we have to constantly refine and improve to keep up with your desires. We appreciate all the wonderful feedback we’ve received recently from you regarding the positive influence our educational programs have made on your dental practices and your lives. You challenge us to move on, to find better ways to interact with the practicing dental community, and in the end we both grow. Therefore, if there is any area of need we are not addressing, please feel free to immediately give us a call. We are here to serve.
