You may not be aware of it, but 2007 is actually a very significant year for everyone affiliated with the UCLA School of Dentistry; It is the year we will celebrate the achievements of our 40th graduating class of new dentists. Since the first commencement ceremony in 1968, we have been successfully growing the generations of the UCLA School of Dentistry family. As Dean of the School, it is my hope that we all feel we are valued members of this family with much to contribute to each other, to UCLA and to the community. In this spirit, I wish everyone a productive year.
